In Lucknow, India (AP) four trains collided on Saturday. Police and railway officials said they happened in two different accidents, but they were both caused by dense winter fog in northern india. The accidents killed ten people and injured 47 others. The first accident took place near the town of Etawah, about 170 miles southwest of Lucknow, when a train entering the station rammed another train that had stopped there.Ten people, including the driver of one of the trains, were injured.
A similar accident occured near Kanpur, aout 60 miles southwest of Lucknow and left ten people dead and thirty-seven injured some seriously, Brij Lal, a senior police said.
